Internships

The National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) accepts internship applications for the Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer Academic terms on a rolling basis. We are seeking dependable interns who are creative, self-motivated and able to work both collaboratively and independently. This is a non-paid internship that offers the opportunity to learn about and network with representatives from the most prestigious companies, Arab embassies, U.S. government officials, and other organizations with business interests in the Arab world. We are flexible in terms of hours and start date.
Intern duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Conduct research as needed by the Chamber on topics related to U.S.-Arab trade.
  • Research U.S. trade policy, U.S. companies, and local chambers of commerce in various states and cities that provide potential opportunities for foreign business and governmental delegations.
  • Participate in visits to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Congress, Arab embassies, organizations with a focus on the Arab world, etc.
  • Assist with planning and recruiting for Trade Missions from and/or to the Arab world.
  • Database management and administrative support on an as needed basis.
  • Media monitoring and analysis.
  • Assist with planning, publicizing and coordinating high-level NUSACC events.
  • For those capable, assist in minor translation of Arabic, French, or English text, as needed.
  • Utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project, Photoshop, video editing, and social media tools.
